I think several artists sounded wobberley and flat! The sound mix so far has been terrible! Hope it sounded better live!

I am glad other people noticed the sound, thought my Tv was on the blink.

I think that if this is the best Gary Barlow can do in organising events then he should stick to performing and writing and leave this stuff to the professionals, Bodie ,Doyle & Cowley !! Its nothing short of musical constipation & needs a good dose of Shads laxative to liven it up!!!!

I would have thought Brian May would be performing as well. I remember his fantastic opening of the Queen's 50th anniversary ten years ago, when he played from on top of Buckingham Palace. Also, Brian Wilson was then there to perform one or two of Beach Boys numbers.

Cliff seemed to be singing in a different key to the music on Dynamite and overall his vocals were very poor.
In the studio things can be tweaked but 'live' he tries way too hard and is perhaps too old now to attempt all that 'dad dancing'.
I've never been interested in Cliff solo and certainly wouldn't pay good money to see him nowadays.
He was good on the 'Reunited' tour but I'm afraid the likes of Tom Jones just blew him away last night.
Tom's voice was strong, clear and he was as cool as can be.
Macca wasn't that great either!!!

Yup, thought Sir Cliff and Macca were pretty ropey. On the other hand, Alfie Boe and Renee Fleming were superb, Elton got the crowd rocking, and Lang Lang's snippet of Rhapsody in Blue was great. Madness were good but Cheryl Cole...

Anybody spot Hank standing next to Frank Ifield in one of the video clips at the end?

... and a huge hand to the backstage crew for coping with what could have been a logistic nightmare!
