Hi Roger
What is the valve compliment of the Echomatic, and will you be bringing it to the East Yorkshire Gala?
Anyway, look forward to seeing you there. Cheers Terry Devon

Thank you for your replies, but first let me correct Amanda in the fact that as far as I know it was Eric Snowball (of ESE fame) that first used the idea of controlling the volume of the first three playback heads as per the original Echomatic II.

Terry I do hope to bring it along to the Scarborough Gala on June 15th/16th and I look forward to seeing you there. The valve compliment is 3 x ECC83 and 1 x ECC82.

As promised here is a demo of the unit. I've chosen Wonderful Land as the middle eight damped sections are useful to judge echo patterns.

Soundfiles with Hank removed have been used previously by others and it is probably the best way to make comparisons so I've taken the same route.

Strat > echo unit > AC15 > Shure SM57 > recorder

Wonderful Land
