Early video of the Shads and Apache

someone asked when this apache film was made...wednesday 28 september 1960 possibly using bbc facilities. Described as a "visual record" it was one of several recorded that week by Jack Good including Frank Ifield, The Vernons Girls and Jimmy Lloyd. The idea was that the films could be used overseas and on uk tv perhaps with dj links.
it'll never catch on.....

funny how 50 plus years later it still can't be seen on my tv in decent quality. how on earth do these guys expect to have a hit record ?

Goldenstreet is that royston ellis clip "around" ? are there any recordings of the shads backing him ?
