Thanks Guys for the nice comments on the video's -
Yes I've video'd the whole show and basically editing and uploading them in reverse order.
Will take a long time to get them all on there though.

Sorry I missed Shadowsfix but went to ShadowDania (Denmark) to see my old drummer Richard Cooke in The Danish Shadows.
(Brian Locking was there as well !! - he must think I'm stalking him ;)

Having just spent the lasr three- four week,s in hospital, I ,unfortunatly, missed out on both gigs. Many many thanks Phil for filming and posting all the music from Lakeside, on the site ,thank you..and I am looking forward to future postings.

Chu-Chi, isn't it?

B-side of Mary Anne and certainly not the easiest of Shads records to identify (it's easy to confuse it with Late Night Set, though that was from a year later).

Here's a version by Eric Chin-Chan:



PS: The "Spotnicks" tune you have labelled as Lost Eight is actually their cover of Floyd Cramer's Last Date. The Shads very clearly based Summer Love '59 on that tune.
