I believe the use of the "r" word is disgraceful and those using it should stop. There are people on this site including myself with mentally retarded members of my family and it is extremely offensive. When under another thread and Hanks mental issues were brought up the thread was stopped by Dave.

Derek, I'm not sure why you have singled me out to make that comment to - I would have thought it would be more productive to address it to all the moderators here. I make a point of not getting involved in forum spats if I can possibly help it. As a moderator,myself, on other forums, I take action when necessary, but here I am just another member, I leave moderation to those whose job it is, and my only interest in coming here is to discuss music. I hoped my last posts would help get us back on topic.

I sometimes wish that I was just another member, then I could say what I really felt about some people.

Hi Dave there are a lot of us that wished you were just another member also, you get away with murder on here and have always done so, you would think after the illness you have been through and survived it would of made you a nicer person... No I was not stirring, if I wanted to do that this place would explode...Hope that my spelling is OK or that will get a bashing next...As my dad said to me " People never change they get more like themselves every day"...
