When I noodle around with the chords Bm, G, D, A, there seems to be a tune lurking in there somewhere.
Do you have have any favourite chord sequences?

Cheers,
Christopher

Thankyou chaps. You have reinforced my theory that certain combinations of chords seem to inspire the imagination.

For example, the old intro to 'Walk Don't Run, (Am,G,F,E) makes me think of Mark Knopfler (Lady Writer on the TV et al)

My ambition is to write an original combination, but so far my tunes remind me too much of FBI or Sleepwalk, to give just two examples!!

Kindest regards

Christopher

I wrote a tune with, what I thought was an original chord sequence, I was really proud of myself.
Dmaj9 / F+ / G add 6 / G# dim/ Em7 / A7 ...... back to Dmaj9.
Lovely !

Here it is... ( melody, not intro )

I certainly did, mucka.
Thought the key was a bit "tenor" for you but :D loved the lyrics and the sentiment behind it.
