Slightly OT but sad news on The Searchers website that Billy Adamson The Searchers drummer from 1969 - 1989 passed away in a hospital in France Yesterday aged 69. I'm sure all our wishes are with his family.

Billy actually had a Shadows connection according to his Facebook Appreciation Page.
In 1967 he was a member of the short lived Jet Harris Band at the time of the My Lady 45.
He also played with some Scottish based beat bands around the Glasgow/Paisley area in the early 60s,
but I cant remember who they were, some reference book I read once?
