The event described below is now not taking place.
I have left the thread in place for info.
Iain for the moderatorsJust in case someone is stuck for an idea for a Christmas gift or looking for something entertaining in the New Year, Mo Foster has just told us that he is having "An Evening With..." which he is giving at the Metropolis Studios in London. He will be performing, and talking about his musical 'life', as well as having a question and answers session. Price is £20. These evenings are always good for a laugh and you never know who you'll meet. If anyone's interested tickets can be got from

Hi Everyone....I received this email from Mo a couple of hours ago: "For reasons beyond my control I have been forced to postpone my talk at Metropolis studios. This was originally scheduled for Thursday 9th January. There is now a new date for you to put in your diary: Thursday 20th March. Same place.I understand that people who paid for tickets through Music Glue have all been informed of the date change, and that their e-tickets have been reissued. My apologies for any inconvenience.See you soon,Mo."
Bests....Rob

The January date didn#t suit me but March is much more 'do-able' - anyone else planning to go?

I had a ticket for Thursday. Unfortunately I can't make the March date.

Has anyone actually bought a ticket for the March date?
I signed up with Musicglue but there's no sign of the event on their listings and I have been going round in circles...

Mysteriously, when I went bck on, a dropdown box for number of tickets had appeared, so I'm sorted.

I've just had an email to say that the event on 20th March has been cancelled. My ticket money will be refunded in due course... (but not the train fares and hotel accommodation!)
We will no doubt find something else to do on the Thursday night.

I'm very disappointed to be missing the event. Similar expenses incurred here. I do hope there will at least be an explanation.
