The ShadowMusic Web Community

While searching the iTunes Store I have come across a CD purported to be by THE SHADOWS entitled "Another Side of The Shadows". The tracks are all well known Shads tracks that I am sure we all have in our collections but VERY different versions - for example Round & Round is a real hoe down country track with some of the lead played on Banjo!!! I haven't bought it but listened to a few samples. Does anyone know anything about this CD? I cannot believe it is really by Hank. Bruce etc.

I also came across another CD recorded by THE SHADOWS entitled "The Dark Side of The Shadows" but this turns out to be a vocal rock/blues album and is nothing like our Shadows!

There was discussion about this some time back and one or two ideas were floated about the identity of the musicians.

I downloaded and think it's quite clever, but no idea who it is !

Hi, I have both these CD's having purchased them from US. They are a group based in the US who called themselves, yes you guessed it, 'The Shadows'.
Nothing to do with "our" Shadows....
