I'm surprised that no one appears to have picked up on the death this week of Bobby Graham. Usually there is a big response to the death of a musician, especially one whose impact on the music of the sixties was so enormous.
My condolences to his family and close friends.

Bobby Graham died on September 14th.
There was certainly coverage - including on this site - at the time.

Yes, this site had a string of posts about Bobby, one of the key players of pre-, actual and post-British Invasion rock 'n' roll.

You're quite right, he did die on the 14th September. The site that brought it to my attention stated that he had died three days earlier; making it Monday of this week. They got it wrong; therefore I got it wrong; my apologies.

I Googled 'Bobby Graham obituary' and found plenty of entries from papers like the Independent, so it is nice to see that the background boys of music do get some credit.
