Surrey Club: Tom Bland
Posted: 14 Mar 2014, 19:08David, my name is Chris and I am Tom Bland's son, I understand he has been known to get involved with the Surrey Shadows and thought you or some colleagues at the club may know him. I am writing with some sad news, he sadly passed away earlier this week, you may or may not know but he has been ill for a while and has been in hospital for the last 6 months.
We are trying to contact and get hold of as many people that we can that know him so we can let people know and share details of the funeral which will take place at Hanworth Crematorium next Friday 21st March at 4pm.
He has talked fondly of the Surrey Shadows and we found a few newsletters and details when clearing out his house this week. I couldn't find any contact details other than this site.
If you or any of your colleagues at the club know Tom, we would love to see you at the funeral if you're able to make it.
