THE SHADDERS STOLE THE SHOW

This is not to take anything away from all the other performers, but if you study Body language
(like I do) when The Shadders came on stage at Reading Children In Need the floor became a wash with dancers , say's it all to me............. :D

Mugwumpsthecat was there at the Children in Need bash on Friday and saw all the action! What a fabulous night was had by all! Well done the Berkshire club for that - great night! How much was made for the charity? And - can we do it again next year?!! :D Great to see so many friends.

There were 4 great lots in the auction and this cat enjoyed the famed bread pud! ;)

I can confirm that The Shadders brought the house down - or at least evacuated the building! They had just finished playing Mountains of the Moon - when we thought, what's that noise? What is Bob playing? Then we realised it was the fire siren! :? Sadly, that was a premature end to their set! :(

Mugwumpsthecat is extremely proud of her boys - The Shadders - as Olderek says, you stole the show! It must be said the other bands: The Driftin' Shadows, The Silver Shadows and The Shadowers were fabulous, too! A great shame if you missed it! 8-)

So a huge thanks to Mike Beale, Sue Eyles, Graham Hyde, Eric Pole and others for all your hard work putting the event together! :D

Love from the cat basket,

Mugwumpsthecat 8-)
