I Have just been asked to put a message on this site regarding reports of Alan Jones Passing away
Alan is alive and well and currently visiting Brian locking in wales
I have spoken to his partner who has had numerous calls with concerns over reports that Alan had passed away.

I was called by a Shadows club organiser who had been called by someone who had been called by someone, Linda. He asked if I could verify the truth before misinformation was published. I think you know how I did that...

Then I called my enquirer,who called his enquirer, who called his informant to set the record straight. It seems to have emanated from South Yorks somewhere...

OMG. Linda, would you please tell Alan how much we love him.

For those interested, Alan is guesting on bass with us at a couple of gigs during the next few weeks.
Trinity Theatre Gainsborough on May 9 and Acorn Theatre Worksop on June 1st.

Kev has just been talking to Alan Jones, who is in remarkable good health. Suggest whoever started the awful rumour get their facts straight first. Linda is always available to talk and is the closest person to Alan, so best contacting her in the first instance.
