This week John Hall who helped put the UB Hank Club mag together sadly died of cancer. Many of you will know John from the club and his appearances on stage helping out in the youngones competition at the early Shadowmania's.

So sorry to learn of johns passing, he was a really nice guy, very helpful and he loved the music like we all do.
Both John and Patrick Terrets contributions to the early Shadowmanias should not be forgotten , firstly organising the brilliant Shadsfest in 97 which served to encourage Bruce Welch to do Shadowmania , and as Zoe stated bringing the young players to the stage for everyone to listen to and enjoy,
As is the norm all good things are a sum of all the parts and both John and Patrick played a key part in first getting Shadowmania off the ground and the brilliant addition of the young guitarists who played so very well, some like the very talented Zoe going to futher heights.
My condolences to Johns family and friends at this sad time, thankyou john.
Phil,

Sorry to hear of John's passing; a valued contributor to the backroom organising of the talent spots in the early days of Shadowmania and a supportive friend to Zoe and Nick Kellie. A true gentleman.

I got to know John very well and we had many conversations about guitars, equipment and players. May he rest in peace. Condolences to all his family.

Nice to see you back Phil, don't be a stranger - how's the new Meazzi?

John
