Set your recorders for Jools Holland Later May 27th and May 30th as Hank will be a special guest.
I am very pleased to be able to tell you that Hank will be talking to Jools about the Shads and playing LIVE. He will be using "Oasis Strat" CRS 59 number 53 which I handed over to Alan Rogan yesterday. When Hank leaves the UK it will come back to the shop.
I don't know what he will play but I think it will be a unique performance.

Yes at long last a REAL LEGEND will be appearing as Jools whips us up to a frenzy each week!!
I would imagine getting tickets could be difficult, as you might have to fight your way past all the Top Gear Luvvies
standing about in the next studio. But if you get a table near to the music action of the show then you must be a superstar too!!
Some of the acts, particularly Neo/Punk/Goth/Indie bands appearing over the last few seasons are truly awful!!
Nice guitars and amps turned up to infinity sound and your an instant legend!! Don't forget to scream incomprehensive words into
a microphone too!!!

Hank is also the subject of "Guitar Greats" on BBC radio 6 on 24/5 at 4-5AM.
Think it is an old programme but maybe worth a listen.

According to the Radio Times website 'Hank Marvin joins Jools in the studio for a chat at the piano'. I hope this doesn't mean we will not get a chance to hear him play, it would be a great shame.

I think seeing that he has taken delivery of the Oasis Strat he will be playing - maybe not on both nights tho!
