That has to be one of the best interviews with Hank I've ever seen. Great questions, brilliantly relaxed. Compare it to the live TV interviews and you get a sense of how pressured live TV must be.

Great stuff - mature and interesting.

Hank needs reminding about 'Dreamboats and Petticoats' though!

Great stuff - that's what I call a good interview.

You're right Mike, Jason Donovan sang and Hank played Dreamboats. I bet they recorded the parts separately which explains why Hank had no recollection of it.

He made quite an effort to recall the Leo Sayer recording - which I always thought had a great guitar break with 'the' classic Marvin sound (Don't Wait Until Tomorrow)

Amazing - such a good interview, warm, intelligent, relaxed, miles better than all the other recent interviews put together. It even mentioned his Gypsy Jazz group - if Australians love jazz, I'm pretty sure UK music lovers do too, so hopefully one day he can play that music in the UK. Jazz is popular now with young people through Jamie Cullum's Radio 2 show, so..we can dream. He also mentioned one of my all-time favourite Hank tracks "A tall a tall dark stranger" - this guy can play anything!

Great interesting interview. Looked at his most relaxed. He may well have been tired during early interviews. Problem is he looks young and fit but travelling is very tiring. I get a feeling that we may not see him tour here again. Touring at his age would be exhausting. I may have to go out there to get another performance in !
