Eric Clapton Glasgow Concert

Noted in local Sunday Newspapers here, that he walked off stage at the above gig.
Apparently had a sound PA malfunction that got worse 3 quarters through the show.
Many punters were apparently raging at the lack of any apology from him or the venue management,
understandable when ticket prices are at a premium no doubt.
His Official Website has made a sort of apology saying most of the set numbers had been covered up
to that point, but I would have thought he could have done a few acoustic numbers to pacify the punters.
Apparently the boos from the audience were quite strong!!!

Glasgow is probably not the best place to disappoint an audience. At least it wasn't the old Glasgow Empire Theatre, where apparently from the artistes' point of view, if the audience liked you, they let you live.

Yes in the good old days if they didn't like your act , they pelted you with empty beer bottles.
If you were good then the bottles might have been full ones!!!!
Reminds me of the story told by Joe Moretti when he was touring with the Alex Harvey Band
without Alex. Some drunken punter staggers up to him at the stage looks Joe in the eye and
mutters "yer no f....n him are ye?

As much as i like him , i feel he has become quite grumpy and harder to please as he gets older.
