Can anyone tell me anything about the Guitar that Hank was given by the Newspaper "The Scotsman"
He only used it on one number "Cmon Everybody" but it certainly has a different sound to the rest of his Strats.
just wondered if there was anything special about it ? and are there any close up photos of it.

If you search through the previous posts on here, this has been well documented. It should not be more than a couple of pages back. Possibly under guitars and amps, but try general first.

Go to the top right in the banner, and there's our search box.... type in The Scotsman and that will take you there...

Scotsman Strat... probably the worst looking Fender I've ever laid my eyes upon in years..

Is our lead guitarist going to turn up at Saturday's rehearsal with a new guitar...

In which case, I feel obliged to get to work with some old copies of The Herald and a pot of cow gum.

As far as I know, three such guitars were made as part of a promotional operation for this newspaper, and one was given to Hank.
I guess he had to show it at least once...
