I think is one of the most interesting interviews since the release oh Hank. I now understand more the direction of the album. Particularly like the comment about Jet. Well done by the interviewer

I'm sure that it's actually the August issue, with a vintage Gibson SG Standard on the cover.

Its because there are 13 issues a year, i.e. published every four weeks. There'll probably be a Christmas number as well.

Thanks for that. Why not call it by the issue number rather than the month. Makes no sense.

l will probably never see that issue. when someone has time, I would appreciate knowing about the relevance ofJet.

They do both: issue number and calendar month, but as stated above, it gets out of sync after a few months. I've also seen a Summer issue before now.

P.S. I've just switched to a 'tablet' subscription, it's almost half the price of the paper copy.

This "release in advance" is certainly not limited to "Guitarist" magazine. Every (nominal) monthly I've sever seen does exactly the same thing in issuing (say) the August issue in late June.

I thought of the download but I do like turning pages.
