Does anyone know about this site. It is set up to look like an official Burns site. I can get no response seems to be a Spanish site. Someone has spent considerable time and money making these guitars. Some of them look really nice

I'm not sure what they are called, they look like the pickup type that were on the original Burns Black Bison from the '60s. I'm sure some helpful member will be able to clarify this for us.

Tony.

The pickups look a little like the "Bar Magnet" units fitted to the Baby Bison and the Vibraslim models in the Baldwin days, but they aren't the same. They don't look as though they have individual polepiece adjustment for a start.

Can't see an output jack on this or any of the other models shown. It almost seems like a hoax but it would be expensive to get them to this stage and why. I quite like that pick up layout

The first guitars with no jack socket, just a built-in wireless connection? Or maybe a bit of clever photoshopping?

Apparently these marquees specials were supplied by Barry Gibson to a Nigel Bennett in Australia (wonder if any relation of Brian). I managed to get hold of the blog site author and he supplied this information. He also contacted Barry Gibson as I did but unfortunately no replies. I have asked Barry if they supplied the gold Tri sonics as supplied on the Shadow but received no reply.

To me the pickups look very like the specials fitted to the Custom Shop Burns Baracuda baritone guitar I had a few years back.
