Just heard a great interview with Hank on BBC Radio 2 11pm. It will be available on BBC player I guess for those who missed it.
Also had the show about session player Harold Bradley from Nashville which preceded the Hank interview - great listen.

Agree. I thought the "interview" was more of a conversation, which I kinda prefer. Hank always seems so relaxed!

Listened to and liked the Harold Bradley interview. Didn't realise Hank interview on so missed it blast

Recorded it but haven't listened to it yet but I did hear the beginning and I hope the researchers did their job better than they did in the opening sequence after Wonderful Land was introduced as being 50 years old but you'd never know from the recording - well you wouldn't would you - they proceeded to play a modern version of Hank playing it!!!!

Anything involving Russell Davies is bound to be a quality programme, and so it was. Terrific to hear one of my all-time favourite tracks "A tall a tall dark stranger" - this will surely have been a revelation to those who only know the classic Shadows records.
