Remember the back end of 50s and early sixties. New guitars from Fender Jazzmaster ,Jaguar, BassV1 Gibsons early solid double cuts the change to SG Firebirds, upside down stuff Gretsch going double cut. It was all so exciting getting the latest catalogues and looking at all the details of them. The weird ranges through 70s . The introduction of the PRS.
Now it's the latest release pick ups which sound like ones in the 60s. Look at the newsletters from Stewmac - wire cutters a new tool for changing your pick ups - this is now the Wow factor. I prefer the former Wow factors.
