LegEnd in Whitby............again

That time of year has come round again, when plectrums are frantically searched for down the back of the sofa, cymbals are given a good going over with the Brillo pad and the Whitby Gazette cocks it up again, putting a lovingly crafted tissue of lies in, three weeks too early, next to a picture of a man who's lost his library book.
The date for our annual eisteddfod of all things Shads-related (and a few Cliffy-type things) has been set for Sunday 10th August in the hallowed portals of Whitby's Spa Pavilion. We're in the Northern Lights Suite (???) that's the big room with the windows which look out to sea. As usual, we'll start at Lunchtime. and, once again, it's Regatta Sunday; so, we're expecting a good-sized crowd. It'd be a real blast to see some of you there, so we hope you can make a date in your diaries for this FREE gig.
Just a reminder...as it's Regatta weekend, parking's at a bit of a premium. BUT the new Park and Ride scheme is now in operation and drops off on the promenade. So, you've no excuse. Give yourselves a FREE treat and have some of Whitby's famous fish and chips.
Nearly forgot. As a special tribute to LegEnd this year, The Red Arrows will be doing one of their world famous demonstrations right over The Pavilion at about 6-30 (P.M.)
It's nowt to do with us really, but The R/As will be there weather permitting as part of The Regatta celebrations. So! Be there, or be.....somewhere else. But we will miss ya.
