Life's too short to listen to the opinions of people who put a show together and know 30% of naff-all.

That's been cleaned up somewhat . . . .

Guess so Dave. Not all my choice but some fantastic riffs many of the numbers I have enjoyed over the years. Considering the audience and the competition I thought Apache at No 44 did really well. Obviously a lot more fans with other bands than the Shadows
You can't always get what you want. I thought some Stones and Beatles might have been better placed. However forget the order not many numbers were bad - unless you feel otherwise

Yes it was good to hear Ken Bruce talking about Jerry Lordan at 10.00 in the morning on Radio 2 and always great to hear Apache on the radio, no matter how many times I've heard it before!
Incidentally, I bought a DVD of Idol on Parade recently from my local garden centre (£3.99) and the writer of I've Waited So Long (Lordan composed hit from the film, sung by Anthony Newley) is credited as Gerry Launden!!
