Mehr als 20 Jahren kaufte ich mir ein 10 "-LP mit einem weißen Aufkleber Mit einigen Songs aus dem Radio Luxemburg Sendereihe" Me and My Shadows "mit der Bedingung, dass. Sie nicht kopieren und zu verkaufen. Der Preis, zu dieser Zeit 200 Deutsche Mark. (Wenn es nur zwei Exemplare existieren).
In meinen Aufzeichnungen finde ich aber nur eine Liste der Aufnahmen aus dem Zeitraum Juni 1960 bis März 1961 / November und Dezember 1961
Ich freue mich, die Termine für die Broadcast-Titel: Barney Blues, The Savage, Shadoogie, vierzig Tage, wissen Funny Feeling, Roseilea To Me Come Back. Immer mit der Ankündigung und Titel tune.

Most of the other names mentioned in the article (except for Jess Conrad - who I heard the other day is appearing in one of our local Christmas pantommimes - and Duane Eddy) serve as a reminder of the continuing popularity and longevity of our heroes! Most of them are long forgotten.

If only those recordings, or the original acetates, could one day be made available for people to hear the Luxembourg broadcasts as they were originally made. The crackly, fading amateur tapes that are in circulation give a tantalizing glimpse of some of the Shadows best work.
