Thanks to everyone who turned up yesterday on a horrible damp and cold Saturday afternoon,Tony I think you were the star turn yesterday well done, it was alao nice to see Martin and Bev.

May I also say a BIG thankyou to Paul for helping do the mixing desk during Dan's abscence, Dan will be back in the new year to give Paul a rest, as you know Paul has not been well but has done a sterling job.

May I wish everyone all the best for Christmas and the new year and thank you all for your support, we have lost a few members this year for one reason and another however we have also attracted people to the club who have never been before so we thank them also.

As you know the Cambridge club has closed because of falling attendance, The attendance at the Cheshire club flutuates between very busy and just enough to break even, I will do my best to continue in the new year with the same entusiasm and attitude to the club even though it drives me mad sometimes.
Ken.

Yes - I think a good time was had by all on Saturday.
Lots of Live Band playing, which for me is not a 'normal' thing. (Is ANYTHING I do 'normal', asks my wife -Cheek!)
Lets have some dates for 2010 as soon as.
I cant be at every one - I failed dismally this year, only making 2, I think - but I'll do my best.
cheers
Ian

Hi Ken, Dan, Ian, Mathew and all at the Cheshire Club,

I'm intrigued by your reference to the "Cambridge" club - first I've ever heard about it, which has surprised me seeing as how I lived there for about 12 years and my son still does. Do you mean the "Fenlands" club at St. Neots, or the club at Wisbech, or where ?

Surely me 'ol surfin' mate Paul at Los Kiosk Bears didn't start a new club did he ?
As Paul so rightly said "... who wants to waste time waxing a surfboard when your Strat needs tuning!"

Hi Tony
Its the MID ANGLIA club based at Biggleswade that has closed.
The Club is still listed on the CLub Area but Ron had no option really but to close it due to falling attendance.
cheers
