Jim Walters & The Foot Tappers

Postby dave robinson » 20 Sep 2014, 12:36

I was privileged last night to be at the 40th wedding anniversary celebration of Jim and Marianne Walters in Derby. My mate Damion was booked to appear and called me to ask if I wanted to go with him. What a surprise when we arrived, the original line up of The Foot Tappers were also appearing with their Burns line up and there were people from all over the country there joining the celebration - it was like a mini Shadowmania from the good days. Jim even joined the lads on stage to add some tasty keyboards.

The show was first class and the entertainment from each of the acts was top class, not a bum note or bad sound anywhere, well done lads and a big congratulations to Jim and Marianne, thank you for a lovely evening. :)

We can only echo what Robbo said about Jim & Marion's 40th Anniversary. Well done putting on such a great show Jim. It was great seeing the Footappers again if even just for one night still brill, with Jim on keyboards. Damion gave a great performance taking us back to our younger days, and also good seeing Robbo playing again. It was a nostalgic trip in time, and we thank Jim & Marion and wish them all our best.
