Happy birthday to Sir Cliff Richard! Always a special day, because it's my 33rd today as well and Roger Moore's 87th.

No doubt that there will be an expectation of a certain gentleman appearing with a Fiesta Red Strat
for the Albert Hall date!!!! or maybe 2 gents!!!
Could it also be the quickest DVD release after these events?

I note that he is having a couple of days off after the 14th - no doubt it will be quite a bash!!!
I certainly hope that one or two Shadowy figures will be present for at least one of the gigs. Interesting that he's doing theatres for the tour, as opposed to the usual arenas...
Happy Birthday Cliff!!!

Nice to see that he is still a 'young one' even at 74!
(He probably feels younger than I do, having exited my fifties just yesterday!)
Don't forget the 14th was Justin Hayward's birthday too - as a teenager in his native Swindon, he could play the Shads like no other by all accounts.
You may also be interested to know that the Battle of Hastings in 1066 was fought on October the 14th. It didn't actually take place at Hastings itself, it was just down the road at Battle. But the Battle of Battle would have just sounded silly ...

After the year Cliff has had, I reckon he's just about ready to rock the nation!!
I notice he's playing my hometown venue, the marvellous Bridgewater Hall - if Hank ever brings his Gypsy Jazz band to Britain (I'm not holding my breath!) then this will be an ideal place to play.
