When I was at NAMM in LA a few years back George Dennis was there and he asked me if I had ever seen his picks. When I produced one from my pocket and said I never use anything else he was amazed nad gave me a pil of them. What pick to use is a very personal thing. For me I would not use any other pick than my 1.30 George Dennis Sharpie.

I bought about a dozen of the little red George Dennis picks from another poster here a year or two back.

I find that like most heavier-gauge picks, they rob the string of treble response. For that reason, I tend to reserve them for playing the more mainstream, jazzy, stuff on my Gibson guitars, and use Gibson medium to light picks for anything requiring a snappier, twangier, edge to the sound.
