I need to buy a beginners Ukelele

My son wants to start learning the Ukelele. There are so many out there I am at a loss as to which one to buy. Does anyone have any recommendations don't mind spending up to £100 but don't know what to look for except I want Soprano and non electric

I got a Gretch for £100 from GAK Brighton. Nicely made.

Spending that much money should get you a very decent uke Bill.
Mine is a Barnes and Mullins.
