Charlie's new Echo Unit

We were talking to Charlie Hall this weekend and all 64 patches have been programmed for the new unit and the production models are hopefully going to be available from the end of January. Charlie had hoped they would be out for Christmas but at least it is getting close. Personally, I can't wait to try it out. It should solve a lot of problems with setting echoes when on stage.

Charlie & John have taken as much time as was needed to make their new unit as good as it can be and from what I heard only last week it's far better than anything else out there regardless of price.
What maybe some people fail to understand is that perfection takes time and only when that level is reached can the unit be handed over to the manufacturers for production. Being a small concern in global terms Charlie & John do not have an army of lawyers/admin staff to do the required legal and fine print with the manufacturers before production can begin. Not only has Charlie been busy writing the final programs but he also has to tackle the owners manual and many other things besides.
Lets have no more talk of disappointment , this unit is well worth the wait....

Yes it has, along with the post that triggered it.
Let's try and keep things positive shall we please ? :)

Positive in that just everyone is just hanging on the edge of their seats awaiting the arrival of THE new echo pedal and just doesn't view things in their relative perspective?

Well
as everybody knows on here, I have been very positive about this unit right from the beginning of the Project especially when I had the Chance to listen to it then as a prototype; and certainly, as Peter mentioned above - it is well worth waiting for it, At least we got a better time Slot for our expectations and if not for X-mas this year then January/February next year.

Like you Zoe I just can't wait either.
The reports on this unit from various quarters has been very positive.
The expertise and effort Charlie and John have put into this project deserves every accolade and I wish them every success when it comes to fruition.
Roll on January.
Cheers

Charlie and John have put so much effort into getting the perfect echo unit for those of us who want a pro set up. I have always been a huge fan of The Amtech but that I had operated side of stage. The new unit will put me in control and with 64 patches to select from it will be amazing and well worth waiting for. I am always being asked about which echo unit to go for and I am telling people if they can afford this will be the one. Personally, I think for what it is it will be excellent value compared to other units.
