My sister-in-law mentioned to my wife today that she heard that Cliff and the Shadows would be appearing in North America. I can find no reference to this so does anyone have any information to confirm or deny this? Also, are they going to provide a NTSC copy of the DVD for us North American fans?
Thanks,
Ray

Hi, Ray...would be nice to know where she heard that.
I live near Chicago and I've been actively looking and heard/found nothing!

But you'll be encouraged to know about the DVD:

Apparently the announcement was made on the TV today. MInd you, with the state of Welsh Rugby they could say anything! I'll try and find more details.

Now that's good news, i enquired on this site about why they missed adding Canada to there tour. Maybe one of the guys in the band read the posting and they had a change of heart. No matter what, i'll be there if the event happens. Have a great day. Scott

At least a month ago, on his Sirius-XM Satellite Radio show, Andrew Loog Oldham blithely mentioned Cliff and The Shads playing Vancouver, no date, no details, after playing "Move It", I think. I've tried in vain to see if this is true, no luck. Maybe I misheard Andrew's comment, but it certainly caught my attention, for I'd certainly travel up the West Coast for THAT, as seeing only one show in London in September WASN'T ENOUGH!

I'd settle for anywhere in NA, but Vancouver would seem to be an odd place. Millions more people around the Toronto/USA boarder, but what do I know?

I know, it makes little sense, compared with Montreal or Toronto. Maybe I misheard the statement, maybe it was in reference to another era. I do know I went to Google and plugged in Shadows and Vancouver!

Vancouver would make a lot of sense. It's like Little Britain up there along with Victoria on Vancouver Island. Plus it would be handy for me in Seattle.
