It's not so often I find the time to look on the site - have there been any announcements of planned events, at Lakeside or elsewhere?

Not that Ive seen - especially nothing from Lakeside

Last time we spoke to Lakeside they said they are hoping to put on the event again this year but might have to adjust the date as they have a big booking pencilled in for mid September.....a question of waiting,

Hi Folks,

All I can say is that quite a few people I know already have confirmed bookings with the Lakeside International Hotel in order to attend another In Celebration of The Shadows event that was announced last year to take place on the 12th September 2015. Maybe the date and the structure show might be changing, so I'll be keeping a sharp eye out.

Hi Ian,

At last year's event the word around was that Lakeside would be putting on the event again in September 2015 but were unable to confirm the actual date due some planned filming by the BBC at that time that had not been fixed. Keen to get our hotel accommodation booked the hotel started compiling a reservation list of people wanting to book. On the 26th September 2014 I and others contacted the Lakeside International Hotel who informed us all that the date of 12th September has now been confirmed and took our bookings. That's it.

Hi Ian,

As posted elsewhere today the date for the Lakeside Shadows Event (I'm not sure what they will call it) has been changed to Saturday 26th September 2015. I spoke to the Lakeside International Hotel who informed me that all people with room bookings for the earlier date will have their booking automatically amended.

Something to really look forward to in these dull old Winter days.

Hi Bob

I rang Lakeside yesterday & they told me that the date has not been set, but there was a meeting on the 16th & the date will be set then & a every body that has booked a room will be changed to the correct date.
