Yeah yeahs

Hello everyone

Is it me, or are the 'yeah yeahs' on the screen out of sync with the song in We Say Yeah, on the Reunited DVD?

It's like they came me in a bar early or the graphics are a bar late.

Hi Howard, Its purposely out of sync, Its a production thing to do with latency in large venues when audio and screens are used. regards Gary

Ah sorry, I didn't read your post properly. I was looking at close-ups on my TV screen: you meant the big screen behind them :)

I didn't know about that - just thought it seemed spot on when I saw the show.

Anyway with only 4 years to the 60th anniversary it's time for them to start booking venues :D

Howard, I wish your right about that!
Although Hank told me in person, that tour would be named "The Zimmer frame Tour"or "The One Foot In The Grave Tour"....if it ever happens at all.
He told me also, he's not ruling out some special gigs for very special occasion if health allowed it at that time...but no big tours again....
I love to see them playing, but how would we feel to get ask back at our job when we are 70+? ;)

Cheers Rob

I doubt Hank and the boys will get together with or without Cliff again, i can't see them being able to do the FBI high kick anymore at their age!
It would be nice but they're all retired now and doing their own thing, also with the passing of time, would they be able to play together as good? That's the big question.

They said they might do a festival or something if invited in one of the interviews in 2009 - and they sounded great at the Albert Lee concert last year.

I can understand why they wouldn't want to repeat the 2009 tour - artistically for one thing because things are never as good the second time around.

But they could do a few nights at the Albert Hall or O2, which really minimises all the hassle of travelling.

They seem to like getting back together but on their own terms. A gypsy jazz concert must be just as demanding in many ways - it's a lot of music and technique to remember.

I wouldn't want them to do something they don't want to do - but the occasional get-together must still give them a great buzz.

In the meantime a DVD of all their existing archive footage would do :D

Not so! Here's Bruce guesting with Local Heroes a couple of months ago. The broad grin, the left leg doing the kick - yes, it's FBI and he's really enjoying himself!

Ultimately it would depend on them all wanting to.
