Timed perfectly to coincide with the re-release of their back catalogue, the latest issue of Pipeline (97) contains a whopping 11-page article on the band SKY!

Absolutely packed with info and photos (many previously unseen), this is, I believe, the most complete and accurate (hopefully!) article ever on this great band. The first four sky albums are reviewed as well, and they feature on the front cover too! All in all, the perfect buy if you are a fan of the band. There are, of course, many Shadows connections and these are outlined too, along with many other little snippets of trivia.

This issue also includes a feature on the early recordings of Brian Bennett and Brian Locking and reviews of Shadows, Jet Harris, Brian Bennett CDs and the recent republished Cliff and the Shadows book. So, plenty in there for Shads fans!

Right, I'm off to have a good read!!!

Good stuff, Chris - looking forward to getting my copy... (The stagecoach service is a tad unreliable in the frozen North, perhaps the postillion was struck by lightning!)

Yes, I can't hope to have got everything absolutely 100% correct, I'm afraid! Mind you, probably more accurate than some of the CD inlays I've seen!!!
