I remember it well Stuart. Jet was the rock in that early sound that we all love so much. He is sadly missed.

Not just as Bass guitarist in The Shadows but as a artist in his own right.I remember the last time I saw
him perform in the Marty Wilde show in October 2010 and how he proudly showed his MBE medal to
the audience, he came across as a person of the people.As they say gone but not forgotten as shown
with this posting.

Indeed very sad he's gone. I had the privilege to meet Jet in person on multiple occasions since September, 1997 and also see him in concert with The Local Heroes, The Rapiers, The Shadowers and Shadowfaction. May his spirit and music live on.
