Just checked my festive Radio Times (bought the one without the Dalek by mistake...) and it's "another chance to hear" - still only one hour, so "changes" doesn't mean "more".

Perhaps they've deleted all the Cliff Richard Bits and it's just the Shadows! :o

Don't want to sound like a miserable old sod, especially at this time of year, but I think it's disgusting that the Cliff and the Shads concert was replaced with absolutely no explanation whatsoever at the 11th hour (so to speak). I tuned in, even though I'd heard it before, only to be greeted with "...And now on Radio 2 - Alan Titchmarsh." Sorry to all you A.T. fans, but the radio was well and truly switched off immediately! The least they could have done is apologized to those who had tuned in expecting to hear some quality live entertainment. Alan Titchmarsh!! Words fail me...

Does anyone know why the concert was pulled? And is it going to be rescheduled? Anyway, that's my 'Bah, humbug!!' moment out of the way, so Merry Christmas everyone (even Alan Titchmarsh!) and Happy New Year...

See ya in 2010...

This brings to mind Mel Smith and Griff Rhys Jones at the end of one of their shows announcing that next week's programme would deal with important questions such as "Alan Titchmarsh - why?"
