Pub quiz moments

Hello everyone

I was at a pub quiz tonight.

The question - who wrote Bachelor Boy?

When the answer was given as Cliff Richard I contested it as I thought it was Cliff and Bruce - which was then proven to be correct.

Anyone got any pub quiz moments where they out Shadded the quiz master?

This happened to me when we were staying in a hptel in Douglas IOM in March.

The questions were all musical and referred to the year 1960. We were asked what were Hank Marvin and Bruce Welch doing in 1960. I said playing in the Shadows and the quizmaaster said No they were in the Drifters. He didn't like it when I pointed out that they were already The Shadows by the time Traveling Light was released in 1959. I went on to correct him on several other non shadows related points which of course further upset him.
