Saw Al Stewart at the Albert Hall last night. Simply fantastic show. Tim Renwick on top form. Al introduced Mark Griffiths who was playing bass and said that for about 20 years Mark had my (Al,s ) dream job as a guitarist in The Shadows. Extra show added next Friday at the Hall for anyone interested

I remember Tim Renwick playing in Andy Roberts' "Tex Maniax" on 19th December 1984 which was blisteringly good - I have my cassette of the second half right in front of me - time for a remaster!!
