NEVER under estimate the local charity shop !

Today I wandered into my local Charity shop....and for a pound picked up both 'The Shadows Silver Album' double LP (Tellydisc) ;)

...and for another one pound - 'Second Opinion' by Marvin Welch & Farrar on Regal Zonophone (!!)  :D

Clearly the shop had NO IDEA who the team of 'solicitors' were...

I suppose it depends on how rare the record is and how much somebody would be prepared to pay for it.The charity shop would not know how much the records are worth people just give them away when they are no longer required.

I have seen the staff in one or our local charity shops going through a pile of LPs, armed with a copy of the Record Collector rare Record Guide...

We also have an Oxfam Music Store locally, and they do know their stuff. I usually hand mine in there.
