Thanks for explaining about Blu Ray Didier, I had no idea as we don't have a Blu Ray player, although we do have a 42 " screen in our big lounge. That said most of our viewing seems to be on the 32" TV in our mostly used living room.
You'll have me looking around for everything Blu Ray now !

Back to the actual DVD that I finished watching yesterday, I watched disc one on Saturday and disc two last night. For me the most enjoyable was disc one mainly because of the personalities in that half of the show, Gary Brooker and Andy Fairweather Low being the 'stand out' men of the match for me, out of a fabulous group of guests, they were all superb, but those two especially shone in my opinion. The second half was also good, but it's probably that all my favourites had been collected on the first disc. One tiny gripe is that I wish Albert would re-visit his song 'Country Boy' from the original recording of Heads, Hands and Feet that I still play, as it it by far his best rendition. For many years now he seems to want to play it faster and faster and it loses something by comparison. It's something that we are all guilty of when playing live, I believe it's adrenalin and I have certainly done exactly the same, regretting it later when watching a video or DVD that was recorded at the time. I agree with Mike too, Albert did seem nervous playing with Bruce and Brian and his playing reflected it, I know exactly how he must have felt.
At the time of the concert I was very ill and there was no possibility of being able to attend, so I'm very grateful that this is available on DVD and it's something I will watch over and over as it makes me feel good to see all those people still rocking at seventy odd years old. In two words it's pure class !
