Some superb acts are featured at Glastonbury this year, we tried flicking around on the "Red Button", and BBC iPlayer but cannot seem to find the Acoustic Stage for the Moody Blues and Tommy Emmanuel....is there any other way to see these performances, or even a few minutes of them?

It's such a shame that there isn't, largely the BBC seem to show the rubbish thus far. Twice I have tuned in and turned it off within seconds. I get the feeling the BBC wouldn't understand real talent if it bit them on the ass.

Burt Bacharach was struggling a bit on his vocals, but you have to appreciate he is into his 80s
and he did not look in good health sadly.
His set could have lasted about 3 hours to do his complete songbook, as 24 hrs from Tulsa,
and many other hits were omitted.
The young audience seemed appreciative, and knew quite a few numbers so perhaps there is hope
that a younger generation can carry his mantle forward!!!

The Moodies have scarcely been referenced anywhere - other than that the Glastonbury boss was choosing to see them over some West person. It's an absolute disgrace - seen them three times on their tour and they are still fantastic. Similar to how the Shads get 'forgotten' as 'uncool' maybe'?

Well I certainly haven't forgotten the Moodies and am never without one or two of their CDs in the car (had them all on vinyl originally).

They were simply the greatest band in the history of music and if you disagree, sorry, you're WRONG!!

Second greatest maybe? Certainly they come second on my iPod - guess who's 1st!

I see Lionel Richie has gone down really well, wouldn't it be great for the Shads to do Glastonbury or one of the other Festivals

Kanye West (in my opinion, folks) is an obnoxious, talentless character. Why on earth he's on an Glastonbury is a mystery to me. In my book he typifies everything that's wrong with modern pop music. Taylor Swift, on the other hand, who probably IS the biggest pop star on the planet right now, is pretty much OK as far as I can see.

I watched a little bit of Florence + The Machine the other night and thought they were OK. Nice that they sang a Foo Fighters song, which may have slightly made up for the fact that they couldn't be there, as planned, due to Dave Grohl's unfortunate injury.

Recently, the most impressive act I've seen at Glasto, which surprised me, was Madness! Yes, them! They had the audience singing along and looking generally happy. Bruce Springsteen was on that year as well, and he too was impressive.

Muddy fields are not for me, I'm afraid; the last one was for Guns N' Roses in 1993 at the Milton Keynes Bowl. Having said that, I'm going to see Motley Crue and Alice Cooper in November (In Newcastle), so that should be a riot. Albeit an indoor riot!

I saw the Moody Blues in Nottingham in 1984 and I agree that it's hard to imagine a band more suited to Glasto. Maybe Jethro Tull ?

It would indeed be great to see The Shadows (with or without Cliff) playing the Sunday 'Golden Oldie/Legend' slot at Worthy Farm. I suspect it won't happen but if it did, do ya know what? I think I might just blow the cobwebs off my old wellies and get on down.
