Tony Rivers Book

Postby tim.cooper5 » 09 Jul 2015, 18:38

Hi All

Tony Rivers has just written a book about his life in the business including his time as a backing vocalist/vocal arranger with Cliff, who he worked with from mid seventies for about 11 years.
From the stories I have already read from Tony on his Facebook page over the last few years, about his career, it sounds like an entertaining read as Tony is very honest in what he says!
I guess plenty of Shadows bits too, as he worked with Bruce on some of Cliffs mid to late 70s albums.
Not a cheap read (just under £30.00), but from what I can understand he is publishing it himself.

Hope the link works.

I had no idea that he sang that Likely Lads TV theme. He also sang lead on many of those Top of the Pops covers albums form the 70s.
