A performance of Wonderful Land (probably pre-recorded) from the Cliff show in 1970 with John Rostill sporting some very 70's sideburns!
I thought Hank's guitar sounded a bit thin on this track.

No echo, sounds like the Burns is plugged straight into the amp.

Not my personal favourite, looks as though they would rather be somewhere else. Not the same band without Bruce

They had effectively split up by this time so any work is likely to have been done primarily out of obligation and not probably for fun.

Obviously recorded beforehand and miming. You can hear a volume pedal a couple of times but there isn't one on the floor.

The Shadows also recorded a 'live' version of "Foot Tapper" for this same "It's Cliff Richard" TV show, recorded on January 29th, 1970 and broadcasted two days later. This track is played over a scene of Cliff Richard and Una Stubbs dancing together with professional dancers. The guitar sound is typical of Hank's sound of the period, very similar to the sound on his first solo album and solo singles, The Shadows' "Shades Of Rock" album and the Marvin, Welch & Farrar recordings.

Out of interest, did Hank meet John Rostill again after their last Shadows concerts together in 1970?
