Also Shads-related but maybe not so visually attractive!

Jim, how is this Shads-related other than the title? Is The Shadows´tune in the movie?

No Shads recordings on the soundtrack as far as I know, but the theme and incidental music is probably Brian Bennett's first extra-mural commission.

You're quite right, Jim. There is nothing from the Shads on the soundtrack and I remember feeling very diappointed by that when I saw the film in the cinema on its release. The film itself is unmemorable.
Cheers.

It appears that Brian's contribution to the soundtrack is entitled French Dressing Twist, presumably the same tune as that on 1964's Dance With The Shadows?

I have the DVD of The Boys. Haven't watched it for a while, but there is a scene where The Shads are heard on a radio in the background. Without enduring it again, I can't remember what was being played.

I might have known Dudley Sutton would appear in 'The Boys'. He seems to be in every film ever made.
