I wonder how many of these guitars were ever sold. I remember the article and also had a chance to try this guitar, or one very like it, at a music fair in Eastbourne. I remember being fascinated by it but it was well outside the limited financial resources I had at the time!!! ;)

Lots of built-in effects like Treble Boost, Mid-Range Boost and Bass Boost, as well as fuzz and auto-repeat (whatever that was).

Those were the days before overloaded amplifier valves had come to be seen as an effect and when commercial effect units were almost all outboard and mainly battery-powered.

Spin this image through 180 degrees and zoom in on the effects names.

Interesting that Vox went for the Telecaster body shape. I wonder what their commercial thinking was?

Sorry Jim, being a bit slow here - what does WHT stand for?

Wonder how chuffed Hank actually was! ;)

Hank can't have been that 'dead chuffed' with it, because he never played it. Did he...?

(Quite an unattractive looking guitar in my opinion.)

We shall never know if it was used on any recording sessions!
