I've just heard that Bruce will be joining Suzie Quatro on her Quatrophonic Radio 2 show at 10:00 p.m. this Monday (15th Feb). I believe all or part of the show will be about instrumentals.
Martin.

I shall be tuning in...
(always thought it was a shame that Ms Quatro didn't do a turn as the Shads bass player during the 1980s. I think she'd have been great and that would have generated some headlines! Oh well, too late now.)

This is the 320kbps stream for BBC Radio2 - as good as it gets!!
http://a.files.bbci.co.uk/media/live/ma ... o_two.m3u8I get good results with VLC, or if you have ffmpeg installed, precede the above with ffplay and a space.
Secret - this works for all BBC Radio, just amend the bbc_radio_two bit as required!!

An entertaining show. Interesting story about
Walk Don't Run, then following its broadcast in full stereo, we are treated to
Apache in glorious mono! I'll forgive Bruce his slip-up over the reference to the Drifters as their name for the early 1960 US tour with Cliff...

Yeah, I noticed immediately that Apache was in mono. A shame, as in stereo it sounds like the guys are right there in the room with you!
An interesting show, but a little more Shadows would have been nice. I was hoping they'd end the show with something. Oh well.
"They read the dots but don't reach the heart." - a great quote from Bruce on the subject of 'some' session musicians.

Wonderful Land should surely have followed Nut Rocker rather than t'other way round as in '62 !?
