A two hour programme, described on SoundCloud by the host:

"HANK MARVIN is England's very first R&R Guitar God. Without a doubt the most influential guitarist of His generation. He's also a very kind person. This is a very special radio broadcast. The idea was to introduce my old buddies to their hero. Irishmen Colm Graham & Robbie Furlong are career guitarists & legends all their own. Both men credit Hank Marvin as their reason for being, the man who inspired them to pursue their careers in music. Hank was so generous with his time & just a joy to speak with. On behalf of Colm & Robbie, I just want to say "Thanks Hank" for being such a Gent. This radio show was a high point in our lives. Most Appreciatively Yours, Joe"

Intriguing.

Haven't played it yet, but it's great to know that Hank and the Shadows are recognised in the US of A.

A great interview, and interesting that there's a radio presenter in New York playing obscure Shadows stuff on the airwaves. So, we've got another studio gypsy jazz album (hope this one will have better and cheaper distribution!) and a follow-up to the Hank album to look forward. Thanks Ulrich!

Interesting what he says about Fender Amps.
What is the Australian delay (improved Meazzi) that he uses now? Is it on the market?
He says the preamp of this delay made the AC30 sound better.

The delay he now uses is a TVS3, manufactured in Perth, Australia by TVS Specialty Products: http://www.tvsspecialtyproducts.com

It reproduces the sound and all the echo patterns from the drum Meazzis that he used back in the 1960's as well as many others.
