For those who are completists, you may have missed this one. Warren and Brian Bennett have collaborated with Michael Armstrong on a special single for Christmas "Little Girl (Bells of Christmas)". All in association with the Cavern Club in Liverpool. Brian is of course on drums, Michael Armstrong on vocals, along with Warren who produced and arranged the single as well as playing guitar, keyboards, bass and adding his voice to backing vocals. You can hear a clip on our web site.

Is it too early to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year - I don't think so.
So "Merry Christmas Everybody" as the song goes....
Juliette, and all the Leo's Den gang.

Well not everyone is of the same opinion, I will be going, Michael Armstrong is a brilliant singer songwriter and is in collaboration with Warren Bennett for his second Album. due out late Spring / Early Summer. Brian played on his new Christmas Single - Little Girl ( Bells of Christmas ) - this in itself is worthy of a listen.
It has a great story behind the song which has connections with The Cavern Club back in the day. Both Michael and Warren are very much Beatles nuts and actually went to the current club to launch the single.
For anyone that does go tomorrow - it will be a great event - Its even free!!

Cheers

I hope it was good - I just didn't know who was actually playing as the info seemed very vague. I didn't want to train it into London unless I knew who I was going to see. I'll probably buy the single.

Hi Howard, It was Great!

I believe through the year The Yamaha Music Store put on some great musical entertainment. I know the the likes of Albert Lee has played there.
Michael Armsrong performed a 45 minute set on the small stage in the Music Store consisting of songs from his first album and his forthcoming one that Warren Bennett is producing.

More detail is here -

One of the pending tracks may even have a very much loved and respected Lead Guitarist playing on it...
