Sorry, folks, to keep bangin' on about this, but in an idle hour before Book At Bedtime I put together some snippets of a few of the tracks, just to give you an idea of the great guitar sounds Terry has produced . Enjoy!! as they say.

Good morning from NZ.
My copy of the Cd arrived last week, just 6 days after ordering it.
It's a most impressive production with some interesting twists in the arrangements.
Great memories of tunes that I remember from my youth and days in radio.
I think every instro lover should add it to their collection.
Now back to enjoy it again.
Cheers,
JB

Remember, all the profits are going to Chris's two nominated charities, so you'll be doing some good as well. We think the tunes are a great testimonial to Chris's huge talent and his love of all The Shads' music. Go on, give yourselves a treat......cheques and PayPal accepted.
Love to all,
Mart

This CD is outstanding in every way. The playing is superb and the arrangements are truly brilliant. Of course Martin Verrill is outstanding throughout and Terry Carter plays lead, 2nd lead, rhythm and other guitars courtesy of nunerous overdubs. The late Chris Jarvis is on wonderful form. The guys had been working on this for several years on and off. Sadly, it became imperative to complete it early last year when it became tragically apparent that Chris's illness was terminal.

My, what a fitting testament to his memory. Never has his John Rostill - style playing been heard to better or greater effect. Indeed, you genuinely could be forgiven for thinking that Rostill himself WAS playing...so eerily close is the sound and style. A wonderful collection of great melodies very skilfully and tastefully arranged. Again, you could be forgiven for thinking that the Shadows had recorded too much material for their 1964 -1967 albums and that several of these tracks were left unissued in the vaults. Yes..they are that good. I had the privilege of hearing the completed tracks shortly before Chris passed away. I was moved to tears at the time, as one of his last requests was a review from me with no 'flannel'.

I told him truthfully (as I tell you all now)...it is utterly brilliant. I have just reviewed it for Pipeline and, quite frankly, it ismy Pipeline Album of the Year. To paraphrase my old chum Dave Burke.'Essential. Please purchase immediately.'

Welcome back Rob. You've been away far too long!
But what a way to return. That's a great review of a superb collection of instrumentals.
Anyone who doesn't already own a copy should contact Martin and add the CD to their
instro collection. You certainly won't regret it.
Rant over from one who plays it daily.
Cheers,
JB

I have just been having another listen to the brilliant 'Time In Between' CD which features a varied selection of instrumental interpretation of songs from past decades.
I found it hard to pick a favourite as they are all good individually.
The excellent playing of Terry Carter (all guitars), the late Chris Jarvis (bass) and Martin Verrills (drums) together with clever arrangements, great guitar sound, good front sleeve design and informative inner sleeve notes made this release a 'must' to add to my collection.

If you have not yet got a copy, I strongly recommend getting one. You will not be disappointed.

Totally agree with Rob. Every track is a gem.
As a bass player I found the bass playing to be spot-on. Only wish my recordings were as clean and creative as these.
Currently on continuous play on the car CD.
